Thesis Statement
The American Revolution was a rebellion of colonists against the British, who had originally colonized America, but began to integrate laws that oppressed the American colonists, as well as commit an unjust massacre. On December 5th, 1775, Henry Knox, a member of the Continental Army embarked on a 300-mile journey accompanied by fellow troops and oxen to haul cannons from Fort Ticonderoga in New York to Boston for use by the surrounding Continental Army. The Continental Army then maneuvered the cannons to a hill overlooking Boston on March 7, 1776. Ten days later, the British were forced to evacuate Boston as the Continental Army claimed Boston, which played a pivotal role in the Revolutionary War. This became known as the Noble Train of Artillery and Henry Knox became respected and was considered a very important factor in the American Revolution.
